Are you ready?

God seeks for men to use to fulfill his purpose on earth. God had so designed it that he must use man to reach-out to man. “Moses, I need you”. That was what God told him. God is still seeking for men today to use in fulfilling his purpose on earth. Are you ready? God seeks for men.

“Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt” (Exo. 3:10).

Moses was excited that at last God has come down for the deliverance of Israel. Everything should be easy now. In a matter of minutes, the children of Israel would be out of Egypt. God has come down. It’s no more a matter for mortal men. All these thoughts could have passed through the mind of Moses. He made a sigh of relief. ‘Thank God for God’. He must have muttered.

As Moses was still basking in the aura of God’s presence and the good news of Israel’s ‘independence’, God gave him the big bang. “Come now, you are the one I am sending to do the job”. Moses was taken aback. “But God, you said you have come down. Who am I where you are?” “How can it even be me?” “Have you forgotten how I left Egypt?” Moses bombarded God with a list of questions. Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt? (Exo. 3:11). God insisted, “You are the one I am sending”. “Don’t worry, I will be with you”.

Will you go for him?

God seeks for men that will go for him. Man is very important in the plans of God on this earth. God said to Isaiah: “whom shall I send and who will go for us?…” The Prophet Isaiah replied, “Then said I, here am I, send me” (Isaiah 6:8). Thank God for Isaiah. How many people will not waste time like Moses and give God an immediate answer “Here am I, send me”? God seeks for men.

Moses was knowing God deeper. So, even though God has come down in his majesty for the deliverance of his people, he still needed a man to send to do the work. How important to God are his servants! Without the sent, the message cannot be delivered. How would they hear without a preacher? Rom. 10:14-15.

God seeks for men. Are you ready to be enlisted? God needs you. This is the time for the end-time harvest. God said “I am come down to deliver them out of the hands of the Egyptians…” Exo 3:8 There are still God’s people in Egypt. Some of them are still smoking cigarettes, Indian hemp, heroine and cocaine. Some others are stealing, lying and doing all kind of vices. They are God’s people. By now, they are supposed to have been serving as Ushers, Choirs and Evangelists in the house of God, but they are still held as captives in Egypt. God said I am come down to deliver them but I need you to do the work.

Egypt is waiting

Will you join hands with God to go to Egypt and bring God’s people out? Egypt in this sense are those places where sinners are tied down in their sins. We need to go out there where the sinners are and preach the gospel of liberation to them. God told Moses further “I will be with you” Exo 3:11. He will surely be with you. That is why He came down to be with you as you do the work of the ministry. Find out which area of ministry God is calling you into and function there. God cannot do the work without man. You are very important in the plan and program of God.
