There are vacancies to be filled in heaven for true worshippers who shall worship the father in spirit and in truth through eternity. These true worshippers are humans who had once lived on earth and had been found faithful and righteous. God is not just looking for those who will worship Him on earth alone. Worshipping God on earth is a dress rehearsal for eternity. The audition is highly demanding, but the judges are impartial. Every human is given the opportunity to choose whom they will serve.
There had been worshippers in every generation, but very few true worshippers. Heaven is not interested in worshippers who worship God with their lips while their hearts are far away from Him. (Matt. 15:8) Heaven is only interested in true worshippers who worship God with their hearts and with their mouth. In the past, the spirit of God comes upon the prophets to prophecy and lifts when they are through with prophesying. True worshippers in those days had to make do with rituals and ceremonies as commanded by the Mosaic law, because the body of Jesus was not yet broken and his blood not yet spilled. As such, those men worshipped God the best they could, given their limitations. Now that Christ has come, we have more capacity to worship the father in spirit and in truth, as we have been born again, filled with the Holy Spirit and given the New Testament as the guide and manual of instructions. We are expected to do better. God measures us in our service to Him with what has been given to us.
Which one are you? Are you a true worshipper or a fake worshipper? Are you a God worshipper or a Mammon worshipper? Eternity is waiting for you.
